Start/Finish: Lookout Brewing Company
This race will feature the iconic Lookout Mountain climb in Montreat, NC and combines both fast road racing and technical trail running. The course is an out and back from Lookout Brewing Company in Black Mountain to the Lookout trailhead. From there, runners will follow an epic trail route up and over Lookout Mountain that will challenge even the most seasoned trail runners. After completing the trail loop, runners will speed back to the Finish at Lookout!
Aid will be available at the Lookout Trailhead, at approximately mile 3 and mile 8. There will be water, snacks, cold beer and a food truck at the finish!
